Solumen R
Solumen-R is a West African women-owned project company led by solar energy industry veterans with a mandate to deploy and operate rural micro-grids and supporting activities. The Solumen-R team is comprised of seasoned local planners, economists, engineers, financial professionals, and technologists.
This project will improve economic activity and the productivity of the villages, in support of improving living conditions.
These findings are supported by a feasibility studies funded by the European Union.
The project will provide electrification of rural areas in Togo in isolated mini-grids with the installation of solar and hybrid solar renewable energy.
The project will substantially improve the life standard for 85 villages as a first flagship batch of an overall 5 batches to support 317 villages (318 mini-grids). The project being conducted in tandem with 2 other project companies who were awarded the tender for the 4 remaining batches.
